This may not be of interest if members of the group are already doing pudding dash/run events the end of November/beginning of December but I did say in the group chat I would add to the forum. So just incase anyone is interested. A Christmas pub crawl run has been mentioned over the last few Wednesday running sessions as a social event idea. Where we visit a selection of pubs in the Burntwood area along a pre-planned route suitable for running between each. The distance and starting point would depend on when and choosen pubs. A few suggestions so far have been The Swan, Nags Head, The Nelson and Wych Elm. If anyone is interested feel free to nominate a pub.

Okay I think I’m free then, yes that’s true everyone’s going to be busy! Definitely we can sort it out Wednesday 🍻
Hi Rachel, Kate,
mean’t the Saturday, which is the 14th dec, doh...
Michael, I was working on 15 mins per pub, so if you want a pint in every one then Yes, go ahead 🤪🤣🍻
Just thinking about avoiding races other people may have booked and looking at events locally, sneyd pudding run, Chasewater pudding run etc...
think sat 21st dec might also be too close to Christmas for most folks...?
Sure we can thrash it out Wednesday over a pint 🍺
cheers, Nick
I can do both weekends before and the sunday after but go with weekend of 14th/15th if majority can do that 😊
I'm up for this without doubt lol
*rag
The tag might be a bit out of the way though, the redmoor is a bit closer but will have one horrible hill to get back to the windmill 😂
Sounds like a great plan! 1 problem though I'm in London that weekend 😩
Sounds like a good route, do you mean the Saturday or the Sunday as 15th is the Sunday?
Rachel, how about this;
Sat 7th December ?
Start running at 1pm, meet at the Park Gate Inn,
Visit another 5 pubs, The Rag, Windmill, Malt Shovel, Nelson, Nags Head
and finish in the Star Inn.
About 4 miles running, say 1 hour
15 mins in each pub is 1 hour 30 minutes
Arriving in Star Inn about 3.30pm just before it gets dark
Cheers, Nick
Let’s do it Rachel ! Plan a route, about 5km, Need to avoid the country lanes when it’s dark, Chasewater tee shirts to advertise ourselves, finish in a decent pub, happy days 🍻🥂 Anyone who just fancies the social can meet us in the last pub 👍
