There are about 12 members doing Wales in 2020. So I was thinking LCW weekend (were only the swim is the actual course I believe) but tacking one loop of the bike course onto that weekend. Also there as been some mention of sea swimming at Aberystwyth. Probably early next year now but hopefully there should be some interest. Would be great to swim as a club group around the rock...🤞

I'm not doing IM Wales but I am Marbella 70.3 which has a tough bike course so I'd welcome a training weekend on the Wales course!

Paul, I’m doing Marbella also 👍🏼 I did it in 2018 and was there last week riding the bike course

@richwarwick.jackson ah awesome! We'll definitely have to link up before hand, share logistics plans. I'm really looking forward to it, first 70.3 but love the look of the bike course!

Definitely up for LCW swim plus a ride on the Sunday following the IM route.

Not sure I’d do LCW as it can be pricey but wouldn’t mind doing the bike course maybe a couple of times and a sea swim or two.

Long course weekend Wales swim is down to the last 250 places...be quick.

Swim alone is £40 or £50 if I remember correctly.

We are hopefully tacking on a bike session over that weekend if anyone is interested.

Hi Nick, if we're doing this as a Club we probably need to create an event and organise some details. My view would to do the swim and organise our own bike reckie of the course to keep costs down? Worth someone taking the lead and organising?
